When celebrities are arrested for DUI, it always makes the news.  Certainly this week in Arizona news the story of former Diamondback, Mark Grace's, arrest and trial has been making the headlines of every major news outlet. Grace was arrested back in August under suspicion of DUI after he blew a .095 blood alcohol read when pulled over by Scottsdale police. A few weeks ago we talked about aggravated DUI and the fact that aggravated DUI is charged when someone is arrested on a second DUI infraction in less than 84 month or is arrested while driving on a suspended license.  It's too bad for Mark Grace that, according to news reports, his arrest meets both of those requirements.  Remember that we explained the laws in Arizona are tough when it comes to DUI; a person in Mr. Grace's position is facing jail time and hefty fines, even felony charges.

We are sincerely hoping that he hired a tough lawyer who knows the Arizona DUI ropes.  From analyzing the arrest record including the calibration of the breathalyzer to the procedures the arresting officer followed, Mark Grace's DUI Lawyer certainly has his or her work cut out for him or her.  We understand just how detailed and contentious a lawyer has to be in any DUI case, much less one that will be tried both from the bench inside the court and from the couch inside each Arizona household with a media feed.  If you've found yourself in a similar situation to Mark Grace, give us a call we can help.
